All of the submissions for Mail Me Art 2 will be available to view and purchase at the exhibition. More information will be released nearer to the exhibition dates.

As the 31st January is a Sunday (which makes it rather difficult to post mail art on that day!), any submissions sent on the 1st February will be accepted.

December’s Mail Me Art winner is Maria Simavilla. Maria has won an iPod Touch skin designed by Jon Burgerman and donated by Infectious, a Design-a-Qee designed and donated by animator and illustrator Alex Amelines, and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers.

The deadline for sending mail art into the project is approaching fast, but there’s still time to get your submissions in!

We will accept all entries showing a postal service date stamp (postmark) up to and including the 31st January 2010, so as long as you post it before that date it will be included in the project.

The winning artist for November is Mercedes Lagunas, with her bold seaside-themed artwork. Mercedes has won a Nik Scarlett limited edition print and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers. Infectious have very generously donated two iPod Touch skins as prizes for December and January. One has been designed by Jon Burgerman, the other by Zeptonn. These will be sent to our winners along with the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers.

Well, here it is at last! The original Mail Me Art project’s online shop is now open!

A selection of mail art submitted to the first Mail Me Art project can now be purchased here. Work currently for sale includes mail art by Alberto Cerriteno, Nick Deakin, Stephen Donnelly, Ryan Snook and more!

Due to the huge number of submissions that were received we are not able to have every piece available in the shop. We will be adding more artwork to the shop over time, but if there is a particular item of mail art (from the first project only) that you are interested in that is not listed in the shop, please email us.

You can also buy an exclusive signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers through the shop, which will come with a small piece of mail art included. This offer is only available when purchasing the book through us.

All artists whose work is sold will receive 70% from the sale of their artwork, less any fees incurred, as originally stated in the terms of the project. Payment will be sent through Paypal, so if you are an artist who has changed their email address and/or Paypal details, please let us know!
