We are pleased to announce that the Mail Me Art 2 exhibition will be held in London at the end of July this year! All are welcome!

All of the submissions for Mail Me Art 2 will be available to view and purchase at the exhibition. More information will be released nearer to the exhibition dates.

As the 31st January is a Sunday (which makes it rather difficult to post mail art on that day!), any submissions sent on the 1st February will be accepted.

December’s Mail Me Art winner is Maria Simavilla. Maria has won an iPod Touch skin designed by Jon Burgerman and donated by Infectious, a Design-a-Qee designed and donated by animator and illustrator Alex Amelines, and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers.

The deadline for sending mail art into the project is approaching fast, but there’s still time to get your submissions in!

We will accept all entries showing a postal service date stamp (postmark) up to and including the 31st January 2010, so as long as you post it before that date it will be included in the project.

The winning artist for November is Mercedes Lagunas, with her bold seaside-themed artwork. Mercedes has won a Nik Scarlett limited edition print and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers. Infectious have very generously donated two iPod Touch skins as prizes for December and January. One has been designed by Jon Burgerman, the other by Zeptonn. These will be sent to our winners along with the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers.

Rebecca Horwood’s wonderfully intricate piece of mail art is our October winner. Rebecca will receive a signed limited edition print from Catalina Estrada and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers. August’s MMA 2 winner is Jonathan Cusick with his brilliant flying postman. He will receive a Treeson vinyl toy donated by Urban Retro, a set of lenticular Football Hero cards and a pack of pin badges donated by Christian Lindemann, and a signed copy of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers.
